A Shoe That Wants To Be A Foot, Not A Wedge

A wedge stops or separates objects with its sloping shape. In fact, you walk on one each day, since most regular shoes elevate your heels and want to isolate you from the ground in a clumsy, inapt way.

A foot is the result of several million years of evolution. Modern bipedal man became both modern and bipedal by interacting lithely with the ground, not by escaping it.

A minimal shoe thinks that wedges should split wood, not feet - that modern footwear, both for running and walking, is not modern at all.

Tjepster.com says: A shoe that wants to be a sloping mattress only forces you to walk the exact same way all the time. Wear a shoe that respects your feet and makes you able to adjust naturally to the surface. A shoe that lets you use your body’s fundamental shock absorbing abilities. A shoe that lets your body automatically tell what is best for you, so you variate your walk and avoid heel striking when running. Grow stronger, not more dependent.
